Government seeks your views on improving its care services
What do you think should be top priority when it comes to improving care and support in our country?
If you are involved in the care sector in any way - be it as a carer, service user, care provider or within a local authority, you can now put your views across to the Government.
The coalition has launched a major consultation exercise among everyone involved in social care, be it service users, carerrs, local councils, care providers and volunteers.
Called Caring for the future: shared ambitions for care and support, the consultation paper outlines six areas that the Government believes have the biggest potential to make improvements to the care and support system.
They include increasing quality and supporting the workforce.
You can read more about the priority areas, and share your own views on them, on the Caring for the future website.
The Government also wants to hear people's views on the recommendations made by the Dilnot Commission on Funding of Care and Support.
