Christmas Carols in Kingswood!

Christmas Carols in Kingswood.

Every year Right at Home Bristol organise a carol service at Holy Trinity Church for our clients, their friends and family and our employees.2023 was no exception and the service was held on Friday 8th December, with the highest attendance to date, which was lovely to see.

Throughout the service we had readings from staff members and children from The Park Primary School and were also joined by the church choir who alongside the children, helped us sing our chosen carols.

Towards the end of the service we were treated to a special impromptu performance from one of our very own clients who sang 'Waiting at the church (my wife wont let me)' which was originally sang by Julie Andrews. This was well received by the attendees with lots of people joining in with the song. The client in question is celebrating her 99th birthday on Boxing Day which prompted the performance and a few words to the audience.

It was a lovely addition to our service and we would like to say a big thank you to our client for going out of her way to entertain us.

Following the service we had the opportunity to meet and catch up with the attendees over a glass of mulled wine and some festive treats, which always goes down well!

Right at Home Bristol would like to thank everyone who contributed to the service and those who attended, and on behalf of us all we would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
