Your Career as a Carer

When a person begins to age, changes make things more difficult. What was once easy to accomplish may no longer be possible – physically or mentally. Additionally, these changes can easily affect relationships within a family as daughters, sons and spouses become daily carers for the person in need.

Our job is to ease the physical and mental transitions of our clients – not to mention the transition in family relationships. We take that job very seriously. We expect you to do the same.

At Right at Home, our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. As a Right at Home carer, this becomes your mission, too.

Once you become a Right at Home carer, you'll go through an orientation process to learn our policies and procedures. And every time you are matched to a new client, you'll have an orientation on that client's customised Care Plan and the specifics of their care.

You'll also have continuous training through Right at Home's rigorous in-house training programme, to become the best carer possible.

My family and I were really pleased with Right at Home's efforts. They provided first class service and provided a carer who really knew what she was doing. It is not necessarily easy to transport a person who is not feeling well, and Right at Home did a great job in providing this service. Our experience with Right at Home was just perfect.
