A meeting of minds as our Franchise Advisory Council join the RaH senior team

The FAC offer valuable insights to help drive improvements across the network

Members of the Right at Home Franchise Advisory Council (FAC) came together for a productive meeting at National Office this month.

The purpose of the FAC is to create and maintain a constructive, open line of communication between Right at Home UK and our Franchise Owners, ultimately assisting the Franchisor to drive positive improvements across the network.

The Council is made up of 10 members, each chosen to represent a portfolio of Franchise Owners in their corresponding geographical areas, giving them a voice to share ideas and best practices, and keeping them informed on key matters of importance.

During the latest meeting on April 16, the Council discussed the development of RightCareHQ, a bespoke end-to-end care management system that has been designed by Right at Home.

They also spoke about strategies for supporting franchisees through growth to eventual resale, explored key marketing opportunities and discussed the promotion of our new Clinical Care services.

Speaking after the meeting, Right at Home CEO Lucy Campbell said: “As always, the FAC meeting provided a fantastic opportunity to spend quality time with Franchise Owners from across our network and hear valued feedback from their peers.

“Our aim is to drive continuous improvement across our organisation, so it’s important for us to consult and collaborate with Franchise Owners on various matters of importance and have our ear consistently to the ground in relation to their ideas and perspectives. The senior management team and I are grateful to each Council member for their time, and we look forward to meeting them again soon.”

The FAC meets regularly to identify challenges and opportunities within the organisation, offering valuable insights to enhance the franchise model for everyone, and act as a sounding board for leadership.

They also take anonymous feedback from their fellow Franchise Owners, should they wish to raise any thoughts or concerns in this way.

Scott MacRae, Owner of RaH Maidenhead and outgoing President of the FAC, said: “The FAC plays a vital role in our network’s success. As a Council member, I help bridge the gap between franchisees and leadership. By sharing best practices and experiences within the Council, I can also help other franchisees improve their operations and navigate the business landscape.

“I feel it is a privilege to have the franchisor and franchisee’s ear for the benefit of both and build the network to be the best it can be.”

Andrew Davis, Owner of RaH Bournemouth and Poole, will step into Scott’s shoes after being elected as President by his fellow Council members.

He said: “Members of the FAC are able to offer a helpful commentary on the franchisor’s plans, informed by our own desire to innovate and balanced by the experience we’ve all had at Right at Home. We gather insights from established and emerging franchisees, fostering a collaborative environment that fuels network-wide improvements.

“As I make plans for my forthcoming term as Council President, I am particularly conscious that Scott MacRae will be a hard act to follow.”
