Right at Home Tyneside awarded 5 Star employer status

Right at Home Tyneside has recently been awarded 5 Star employer status following its annual employee engagement survey, run by independent researcher WorkBuzz. The survey is wholly anonymous and seeks employees’ views around staff engagement and how involved employees feel in determining the direction of the business and its day to day values.
This reward reflects a culture driven to make Right at Home Tyneside an employer of choice. We care about our staff.
A whacking 94% of employees completed the survey, with a massive 87% saying they would still intend being with Right at Home Tyneside in 12 months’ time. This is a ringing endorsement of how the employees are regarded and the importance that managers place on working with employees in both a respectful and empathetic way in a sector that is notoriously transient in nature.

The employees are every bit as important as customers at Right at Home Tyneside and the business could not gain recognition and awards without the ongoing commitment and support of its care team. This has never been more so than in the current Covid 19 pandemic when, to an individual, the care team have been outstanding.
This is summed up by an email received from a District Nurse praising the professionalism and compassion of Right at Home Tyneside care staff……
The two carers who attended (I’m sorry I didn’t catch their names) were instantly compassionate, affectionate, and empathetic towards the patient’s spouse and the patient’s family.
They were eager to help with the last offices of the patient and I can honestly say that they had made an impact on the family and certainly to myself and my colleague.
