Tea, coffee and a friendly listening ear are back on the menu at the Sunflower Café in Bordon.
The specialist café, which is run by Right at Home Alton and Bordon is for people living with dementia and those who care for them.
Claire Skilton, Registered Manager at Right at Home Alton and Bordon says: “I am so pleased that the easing of lockdown means we can finally begin to reopen our community groups.
“The café is a safe and supportive place for people with dementia and their carers to visit. It offers a change of scenery, time out to relax, chat over a coffee and activities for those who want them. We also have a dementia adviser on hand at every session who can answer questions and provide information. We are really looking forward to welcoming more people to the café in the coming months.”
To ensure the café is COVID-secure, the number of people who can attend is limited. Anybody who is interested in attending the café should register their interest by calling Right at Home on 01420 481716 or emailing [email protected]
