Throughout the year I get invited to various events in the local community to discuss the importance of high quality, ethical care and support in the community and to discuss how Right at Home can provide the necessary care and support services to meet these requirements.
Last week I was kindly invited by the Brentwood Community Volunteering Service (CVS) to attend their regular breakfast meeting at Hutton Poplars Hall (which is a lovely setting for a networking meeting too by the way!) to meet and discuss with a wide range of groups who are actively helping the elderly in the Brentwood and surrounding areas. This was also a great opportunity to discuss how Right at Home can actively support them.
During the event there were three very interesting talks from guest speakers representing Age Concern, Brentwood Neighbourhood Watch and Therapy For You. It was great to sit and listen to my colleagues in the community and get a better understanding of what they do and how their programmes can help the elderly in our area.
This was a very informative and enjoyable session which highlighted the great voluntary work undertaken in our community to help the elderly. This is something that Right at Home Brentwood will continue to support in the local area and other local communities.
If you would like to discuss how Right at Home may be able to support you – or maybe you feel that you would be like to work in our great care team, then please get in touch with me through our website where you will find out more about us and our contact details.
