Community and Events Coordinator, Right at Home Bristol

I started off my career in care in a care home where I worked nights, I left this job to study and then went on to have a child.

After my youngest was born I ran some community groups and also volunteered at a homeless shelter, this reignited my passion for care so I decided to look around and see what vacancies were available.

This is when I came across Right at Home; Their values and reputation really stood out from the rest of the care companies in the area. I bit the bullet and applied for a Caregiver role within the company.

Upon a successful interview I was then approached by the Directors who offered me the Community Coordinator role alongside the care, I was keen to start this new challenge.

I thoroughly enjoy running the community sessions where companionship and reducing loneliness and isolation are at the core of what we do.

I really benefit from working with such a fantastic team of people and some great clients and families wether this be in the care role or the community.
