Trainee Field Care Supervisor, Right at Home Bristol

While living in Zimbabwe  I was helping care for my Grandmother, after doing this for some time I decided that a career in care was something I wanted to pursue,  I started applying for jobs and accepted a  job as a Care Assistant which I thoroughly enjoyed and found very rewarding.

When I moved to the United Kingdom I started a job as First Aid and Events Support with St Johns Ambulance, I then accepted a job as a Home Carer which I did for a year. A position then came up at Right at Home Bristol which I was interested in, after successfully completing the interview stage  I was offered a position within the team and started  as a Caregiver in August 2023.

After a few days with the company I progressed and was offered a promotion to become a Trainee Field Care Supervisor which has been a highlight in my career.

My favourite  thing about my job is that I get to talk to and meet new people and I also get to assist clients and help them live their lives to their full potential. Right at Home is a great company to work for, the staff are all amazing, helpful and experienced, nothing is too much trouble for anyone on the team and they have all made me feel very welcome in my new role.
