Brand new Cognitive Support Planning Training
Our team in the office have been taking part in some brand new training over the last couple of weeks. The training aims to help support clients with cognitive impairments more effectively. The training encourages families and carers to focus on what an individual can do, rather than looking at what they cannot.
Right at Home in the United States have created the program, and came to our Head Office in Liverpool to present it to us here in the UK. Our Director Paul and Trainee Care Coordinator Cara attend the initial training in Liverpool, over a 2 day period. They had a great time.
Now Paul and Cara have started to introduce the training to the staff here at the office.
The training has been really interesting and enlightening so far, and we are really looking forward to finishing it!
