Today is World Hospice and Palliative Care Day

Work is being done every year to ensure that Palliative Care is available across the world. There are still parts of the world where people are not able to receive Palliative Care in their own homes, creating difficult and stressful situations for both themselves and the family. It is essential everyone has a choice. There are also parts of the world, where Palliative Care is not available.

The Worldwide Hospice Palliative Care Alliance (WHPCA), is an organisation that works with over 90 countries across the world to promote the importance of Palliative Care, and work to promote the affordable delivery of Palliative Care.

You can find out more about their fantastic work here: http://www.thewhpca.org/about-us-3

We help support clients who require Palliative care, along with their families. It is always a tough time for the family and the client, sensitivity and emotional support is so important. Our carers are trained and supported to ensure the best quality care is always provided, and that our clients are always as comfortable as possible.
