The next session of the the Alzheimer Café in Camberley will be held on Monday January 18th 6.30pm-8.30pm. This session will feature a talk from Mr Ablen Dacalos, Clinical Lead Nurse Specialist at Frimley Park Hospital: “How Dementia affects us inside: The range of emotions”.
The Alzheimer Café provides a space in which the issues surrounding dementia can be aired and problems voiced. It has a very friendly and relaxed feel and provides families and professionals with the opportunity to share their feelings, discuss problems, give and receive guidance and education, and make friends.
Bob Thornton, owner of Right at Home Camberley and Alzheimer’s Café volunteer, said: “We at Right at Home Camberley, Ascot & Woking are proud to be associated with the Camberley Alzheimer Café. It is held every third Monday of the month at 6.30pm at St Mary’s Church, Park Rd, Camberley Surrey GU15 2SR and there is a very welcoming atmosphere – we hope anyone affected by Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia will be encouraged to call in.”
