Further to Right at Home UK’s announcement welcoming the Government’s introduction of the new Care Certificate from the 1st April 2015, Right at Home (Camberley, Ascot & Woking) are pleased to announce that all of its CareGivers are now actively working towards their new City & Guilds accredited Care Certificate. We anticipate the first new Care Certificates to be successfully completed by our CareGivers in July 2015.
A key step to achieve this was for our office Registered Manager, Michelle Whittle, to attend and successfully complete the two day City & Guilds accredited Care Certificate Assessor qualification in May 2015.
Michelle will now be assessing our CareGivers to ensure that they competently meet 15 specific standards of the Care Certificate; that they have been assessed for their skills, knowledge and behaviour; that their behaviour has been caring and compassionate and that the services they have delivered have been of a consistently high quality.
At Right at Home (Camberley, Ascot & Woking) we believe this is a significant step forward in providing high quality, dignified and compassionate care to vulnerable adults in their own homes.
