A very special fundraising event for local family

We attended the Joosey Foundation charity event on Friday 23rd November at Stanley House in Blackburn to raise vital funds for a local family.

Bobbie, a local young girl contracted Meningitis earlier this year and as a consequence has had multiple amputations, and in spite of this her mum describes her as a truly remarkable little girl who amazes everyone she meets with her zest for life and her beaming smile. Her journey so far has been life changing and she faces many more operations as she grows. The event helped to raise funds for her essential ongoing care and support.

Right at Home East Lancashire was delighted to support this very worthwhile event along with our table guests Ribble Valley MP Nigel Evans, Mayor of the Ribble Valley Councillor Stuart Carefoot and Councillor Stuart Hirst and Elaine Hirst.
