Resounding praise for our Women In Business event!

Owners appreciate a day dedicated to peer support and collaboration

Female business owners from across the network recently met some of the National Office support team for a special day in our annual calendar.

The Right at Home Women in Business event is an opportunity for Franchisees to connect with their peers while enjoying an empowering and inspiring itinerary, that touches on many aspects of being a woman in business, within a safe and protected environment.

Held at the Kettering Park Hotel on Wednesday, 13 March, we were joined by the Empowerment Champion Jasmine Mbye - Leadership Development Speaker and Trainer for two excellent workshops on conflict resolution and building resilience, while the rest of the agenda presented opportunities to collaboratively address some challenges that are common to our sector.

This annual event is just one of the opportunities Right at Home offers for Franchise Owners to discuss shared experiences and benefit from peer support.

And it's a favourite for the women at National Office too - the positive energy in the room is always so inspiring and once again it highlighted how owners can harness the power of the network, to help drive their business forward.

We were delighted to hear how much the Franchise Owners who attended valued the occasion; regardless of whether they're heading up a new operation or one of our most established offices.

Amy Patel Popat, owner of RaH Solent, said: "It's so great to connect and strengthen relationships with others in the network who are on a similar journey in Leadership."

Rachel Critchley, owner of RaH North Leeds & Otley, said: "The Women in Business event was truly inspiring and heart-warming. It's a joy to reconnect with fellow franchisees, exchanging stories, forging new connections, and strengthening existing ones through shared laughter and collaboration.

"These gatherings remind me that I'm part of a vibrant network, surrounded by like-minded business owners who face similar challenges, share common goals, and uphold similar values.

"Every time, I leave feeling uplifted, supported, and inspired! I can't wait for the next one!  It’s great to be part of a network that cares.”

Grace Gurupira, from the newly registered RaH Telford, said: "It was an absolute delight meeting fellow businesswomen at the Women in Business event, particularly to discuss the unique challenges faced in the healthcare sector and within our different offices.

"Sharing experiences with such successful women was incredibly motivating for me. Especially hearing about the successes across different Right at Home offices gave me a positive outlook for our own business, especially as we're in the early stages.

"As a new business owner, the event provided valuable insights and inspiration."

Right at Home CEO Lucy Campbell said she also found the company inspiring and uplifting.

"It was amazing to see the group working together - supporting one another to address challenges and picking up ideas that they could take back to their own teams.

"Simply realising that you are not alone in some of the issues you face is a huge benefit to franchising, and it was also great to watch the room work together and support one another to really push ahead in pursuit of their individual goals."
