Dementia friendly cricket starts in Havant

On Wednesday 6th November at 2pm – 3pm we will be running our first dementia cricket at the Horizon Leisure in Havant.
Dementia Friendly Cricket is a new version of cricket, also known as ‘Inclusive Cricket’ that is suitable for players of all ages and abilities. it is played in an enclosed area and is structured so that each player will rotate though every person. Everyone gets to bat, bowl and field, there is no running included, its open to everyone.
This is something that Duncan has been striving to get into play and with the help of the ‘Get up and go Havant’ Duncan has be able to get the Dementia Friendly Cricket started.
