She loves supporting her clients, staff members and the office team , always with a smile.

She answers a few questions about herself.

I am 45 years “young” and I live in Slough with my husband, 3 children and a dog.

I was born in Slovakia and came to UK when I was 19 years old as an au pair for 2 years to learn English. I met my husband here; I went back home for a year where I worked as a QC for Kimberley Clark, came back again and got married. I live here ever since.

We have 2 sons, one studying economic and finance in second year at Surrey University and the other one is in Year 13 at Burnham Grammar School doing his A levels, hoping to go to University to become a vet. My daughter is 11 years old and a keen dancer and “Tik Tok Star.” All 3 of them also practise martial arts since they were little and achieved 3rd,2nd and 1st  Dan Black Belts. Gucci is 2 years old British bulldog and we had her since she was a pup, she was born in our house and is absolutely gorgeous.

First impressions of Right at Home were that everyone was very friendly and welcoming.

Before I joined, I have been a full time Mum for many years and a carer for my mother in-law for 6 years. I was also regularly helping out my husband with his taxi business.

This was my only experience of caring, I did not work for any other care company before. After my mother-in-law sadly passed away, I suddenly had more free time and after I had done with painting the house and sorted out garden, I ran out of things to do.  I wanted to do something to fill my time. I initially applied for a position of teacher assistant in school which was always something I wanted to do. I did get an interview however I did not get the job. So, I thought, why not apply for carer as I had some experience looking after my mother in –law. After searching many companies on internet and reading their reviews, Right at Home stood out the most for me. So I applied.

My family is the most important to me, I have no other family here as my parents passed away long time ago and my only brother lives back home. Perhaps that’s why I give all my attention to family, spending time with them or just driving them around, dropping them off or picking them up. I also like relaxing in the garden and messing around with Gucci.

Most challenging thing for me would be going to a client and for one reason or another I wouldn’t be able to help fulfil the goal I went there to achieve. That would make me sad.

What surprised me the most was that everyone, whether it was office staff, colleagues carers or management, everyone was so helpful and worked together so that they could provide the best outcome for the clients. True team work.

You might not know about me that apart from English I can speak fluent Punjabi. And of course, my own language. I used to love learning languages like German, French and Russian but forgot all now.

I think my clients would describe me as reliable, humble and caring. Good time keeper. You have to ask the clients.

I absolutely love my job; I am proud that I am part of the great team of fellow carers with an amazing management. Our manager Alyson is approachable, supportive and you can always go to her with any problems, she is there for us.  I love going to meet our clients, helping them out with their daily routines or just listening to their stories and finding out about their lives, it’s an amazing experience.
