She explains a bit about herself and working in care and for Right at Home.

Tell me a little bit about yourself?

What were your first impressions of Right at Home?

- I thought right at home was a very welcoming and encouraging agency.

Did you have any previous experience in care before you joined?

- yes, I had both professional and personal experience in care.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time when you are not caring?

- I’m between doing home renovations (since I only recently moved to Maidenhead) or in London visiting my family.

What has surprised you most about working at Right at Home?

- The environment is very relaxed (good thing). There’s a nice balance between hard work and peace and mindfulness.

What is the most challenging thing about being a carer?

- The unexpected behaviours or challenges some clients face. They turn to you for advice or solutions and all you can do is your best to try to help them.

What do you enjoy most about working at Right at Home?

- Clients

What did you do before joining Right at Home?

What might we be surprised to know about you?

-  Nothing, I’m an open book.

What would you tell someone who is thinking about joining the team?

- To go for it.

How do you think clients would describe you?

- Engaging

Tell me how you first got involved with Right at Home?
