Supporting our Clients and CareGivers

September has been an incredible month, filled with heartwarming moments and meaningful connections in our community.
At Right at Home our values are central to everthing we do. Respect, Trust, Quality and Compassion are an integral thread.

Communicating your Charity's Purpose

On Wednesday 4th October we co-hosted the 'Communicating your Charity's Purpose' event at Crewe Hall.
Over 25 local charities and third sector organisations were there.
There was powerful Insights: Our speakers, including the Disability Postive,  Amber Consulting and Coaching and the insightful The Empathy Coach, all shared invaluable wisdom on effective communication strategies, fundraising elevation, and networking with confidence.
It all came about from our connection with Nantwich based creative agency, JG Creative.
There was a raffle with a difference (no cash required) with each attendees having a ticket for the chance to win a prize to use in their Festive Fundraising.
Community Recycle Cycles won the prize we donated which was a signed photograph of Liverpool Football Club.
We helped unlocked the secrets of impactful communication together.

New Group Support for Stroke Survivors

We visited the new Stroke Survivors Group in Sandbach at only their second meeting.
We are very proud to be sponsoring the group. They already have groups in Crewe and Alsager. We joined in the activities and had a cuppa with the members.
If you know someone who would benefit from this group, they are meeting every Wednesday 11am - 1pm at Sandbach Rugby Club.

At Right At Home, community engagement is at the heart of everything we do. We're committed to making a positive impact and creating meaningful connections.
We know that emotional and moral support for our Clients and their family can be just as important as our specialist care knowledge, so it is ingrained in the support we provide.

Setting the Stage: A Community in Need

For a while now, the need for bereavement support had been talked about in the Sandbach Connected Communities Partnership meetings.

A Helping Hand from Right at Home

During a conversation we shared our vision of creating a bereavement support group. At the end of September, the dream materialized into a safe space for healing. We offered our training room and refreshments free of charge together with funding Rosie Hilditch Counselling.

Rosie Hilditch Counselling

Eight incredible individuals attended our very first session, and what ensued was nothing short of magical. Together, we created an atmosphere of warmth, understanding, and shared empathy. It was more than just a meeting; it was a gathering of hearts, supporting one another through the often challenging journey of grief.

The next two sessions are on Friday 27th October and Friday 24th November. More details here
