Realising that you or a loved one needs support is one of the hardest obstacles you will ever face. Approaching the topic in the first place may be the toughest part and you or your loved one will naturally have many concerns.

Calling the Right at Home team may take a lot of courage but as many of our clients have found, the answer doesn’t mean a loss of life as you know it. We enable our clients to live independently at home with ease and dignity. Whether you or your loved one have a long-standing medical condition or are recovering from an illness we have many options available to help you.

Coming out of hospital or residential care

After a hospital visit, you may have concerns about how to live your everyday life in the same way you did before your operation or illness. We can offer a live-in carer who will be there to help you settle back into your normal routine. A live-in carer will support you through your recovery period and beyond if needed.

For clients who are sadly approaching their end of life a live-in carer also means that they can spend their last moments in the comfort of their own home, with their friends and family around them.

Everyday support

Our carers can simply come and help with everyday tasks such as laundry, cleaning and other housekeeping

tasks. We can help with meal preparation and food shopping so that you or your loved one can maintain a regular healthy diet.

We encourage our clients to take a positive attitude toward change and offer support with managing daily

chores and activities.

Worsening illnesses

With conditions such as dementia or Alzheimer’s, symptoms often worsen over time. There may be difficulties with memory or mobility as well as needing to be reminded about personal care and hygiene.

Worsening symptoms can take time or happen quickly. Either way this can be difficult to cope with, we can offer packages to suit your needs to be there as often or as little as you need. We offer regular assessments as and when required to ensure that you always have the support that you need. Our care plans can be altered whenever necessary to ensure that you have the right support.
