Our Founder appointed Trustee at Age UK Merton

Tracey Scott founder and managing director at Right at Home Mitcham Streatham and London has recently been appointed as a trustee at Age UK Merton.  Having established her business she has been on the look out for some time for another role in which she can add more back to the local community and in particular by helping senior citizens living in the area.

Age UK Merton is an independent charity operating within the national
Age UK network to provide services for older adults in the London
Borough of Merton. Its' role is to ensure that older adults can easily
access the advice, support and care they need as they get older.  

They have a comprehensive service helping over 3,000 individuals each year, carefully tailored to meet the varied and complex needs of older adults across Merton.  All services are person-centred and underpinned by an "Ask Us Anything" ethos. 

Tracey has a long career in civil liberties supporting the vulnerable. Formerly a lawyer, she worked at the Terrance Higgins Trust and later as an immigration lawyer.  She has also helped local young people and other tenants delay or avoid eviction from their homes.  

Since founding Right at Home Mitcham Streatham and Dulwich in 2016, she has worked full-time as managing director.  She is now very proud of the carer team.  Each team member shares her passion and values to provide the best care possible for each client 365 days a year.
