Carers Week 2020: Exercise


In the second in our series of blog posts for Carers Week 2020, we are providing a full body workout with no gym equipment necessary!

We know it’s hard to fit in time for a workout when you’re busy caring for others, but this in-home workout takes just 20-minutes! If you are new to exercise, take your time and drink plenty of water as you workout.

As well as keeping you fit and healthy, regular exercise is great for boosting your mood as it releases endorphins that make you feel happy. Just 20-minutes of exercise a day can make a big difference.

Your total body workout:

25 Jumping Jacks
10 Crunches
30-second Plank
25 High Knees
7 Burpees
15 Crunches
10 Squats
5 Push-ups
10 Crunches
30-second Plank
10 Squats
25 Jumping Jacks
10 Crunches
1-minute Wall Sit
5 Push-ups
25 High Knees
30-second Plank
