We are delighted to announce that we have recently welcomed our 50th franchisee into the UK network.
Former IT manager Kevin Lancaster took the decision to change career after realising he needed a new challenge and wanted to run a business that could deliver meaning and value as well as profitability.
Kevin will start delivering Right at Home’s quality care services in Reading & Wokingham.
Joining Kevin in our latest New Owner Training programme are former Sixt executive David Meanwell (RaH Stockport); James Foley (RaH Swansea) who ran his own set production company, and Keith & Kirsty Sheena (RaH Hatfield & St Albans) who both enjoyed successful City careers before deciding to start their own business together.
Right at Home has always maintained a measured network growth strategy, which sees each of our prospective franchisees put through a challenging recruitment process to ensure they are well-suited to the demands of the business.
“Care can be hugely rewarding but it is not an easy sector to work in and our brand is not an easy one to join,” said Group Director Tim Jones.
“It takes real commitment and mental strength to establish any new business and when you are joining a brand that has been built around quality, as a franchisor we need to be confident that you’ve got what it takes to be the best.
“We work extremely hard at head office to deliver industry-leading support that fast-tracks our business owners to break-even point, and after working with Kevin, Keith and Kirsty, James and David in training, I know they will go out and hit the ground running.”
Kevin said: “After our first week’s training I am feeling energised and looking forward to the challenge of expanding the Right at Home brand into Reading and Wokingham. My experience so far of working with the Right at Home UK team and existing owners gives me great confidence that I’m joining a fabulous franchise.”
