Right at Home Bournemouth and Poole is shortlisted for Homecare Provider of the Year award

Homecare provider Right at Home Bournemouth and Poole has been announced as a finalist in the Homecare Provider of the Year category at The Bournemouth Daily Echo’s annual Proud to Care Awards.

Right at Home supports people to continue living independently in the comfort of their own home. It offers a wide range of services, from companionship, medication reminders and personal care, through to specialist dementia care and 24-hour live-in care.

Right at Home Bournemouth and Poole has celebrated a year of achievements and external recognition. Its Registered Manager, Helen Garland, was named Woman Franchise Employee of the Year at the NatWest EWIF (Encouraging Women into Franchising) Awards which took place in May and the service was named a 5* employer following its annual employee satisfaction survey run by independent research company, WorkBuzz in April.

Speaking on the shortlisting, Right at Home Bournemouth and Poole Owner, Andrew Davis, said: “At Right at Home, we pride ourselves on providing high quality, person-centered care, that genuinely seeks to improve quality of life. We match our Clients to CareGivers with similar interests allowing for a true friendship to forge and encourage our Clients to get out into the local community to take part in activities they have enjoyed in previous years.

Judges will be looking for a provider who delivers a consistently well-led, personalised and highly-skilled service to people who need care in their own homes.

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 14th November 2019 at the Marsham Court Hotel.
