We are counting down to Friday 6th December when we are taking part in Elf Day!
Elf Day is one of Alzheimer’s Society’s flagship fundraising events. As well as being a great way to raise money, we also get to Elf the boss! So one of our Directors will be dressing up as one of Santa’s little helpers for the day and spreading some festive cheer – all for a good Claus!
We’ve been fundraising for Alzheimer’s Society since April, when we launched our national charity partnership. We pledged to raise £20,000 for the charity across our network of 60+ locally-owned and operated offices within a 12-month period and create 1,000 new Dementia Friends.
To date our network has taken part in a whole range of events to raise money. From a family fun run, to rough runner, tough mudder and bake sales galore, we have worked together to raise £18,866.32. This means we have already reached a whopping 94% of our fundraising target!
A big thank you to everyone who has got involved so far – we know we can’t reach our target without the support of our wonderful network. You can keep up-to-date with all of our fundraising activities by following our Right at Home Alzheimer’s Society Appeal Facebook page.
In the run up to Elf Day we will be hiding Ernie the Elf in various locations, head over to our Facebook page and see if you can spot #WheresErnietheElf?
