Right at Home Portsmouth is triple-award winner in 2021

The team at Right at Home Portsmouth are thrilled that they have clinched, not one, not two but three award wins in 2021 alone:

 

• Team Support Expertise Winner at the 2021 Home Care Awards (HCA)
• Awarded the WorkBuzz 5 Star Employer for the third consecutive year
• Winner of the Employer of the Year Award at National Office Celebration Awards

 

HCA - Home Care Awards

 

In April, Right at Home Portsmouth were awarded with a Home Care Awards, a nationally recognised accolade.

The Home Care Awards are the annual benchmark of excellence for UK companies and organisations providing home care or domiciliary care services.

Right at Home Portsmouth won the award for Team Support Expertise for our ‘Positive People’ Wellbeing initiative.

Our ‘Positive People’ Wellbeing initiative was pioneered by former Training and Wellbeing manager, Matthew, who is also a full-time psychologist. The aim was to lead transformational change in the wellbeing space. An aspect of this was ensuring our team had access to an an online wellbeing space. We created a platform for team support called RaHPort to promote ‘working out loud’, speaking and listening about wellbeing. We all engage in wellbeing activity. Wellbeing conversations are open, judgement-free and honest about the challenges we face.

The Homecare awards stated that  “2021 will be remembered as the year when care at home providers had to stand out and be noticed, remarked upon, and applauded for their innovation, their response to Covid-19, the excellence of their provision and business performance. The Home Care Awards’ judges were looking for just that – stand out.”

 

WorkBuzz - 5 Star Employer Award 

April was a prosperous month as it also meant that Right at Home Portsmouth were named a WorkBuzz 5 Star Employer for the third year running.

To be a WorkBuzz 5 Star Employer is such an important recognition as it comes directly from our staff and based on their honest opinions and comments on the business.

WorkBuzz gathers real-time feedback from our Caregivers, to earn the award it required over 90% response rates to our survey. We also achieved an engagement score of 90, which is above average and it helped us to win the award again for the third consecutive year.

Right at Home National Office Celebration Awards

 

In the eagerly anticipated Right at Home National Office Celebration Awards, Right at Home Portsmouth were bestowed the title of ‘Employer of the Year Award’ in the category ’30-49 staff'.

Each year, "Right at Home comes together as a whole network to celebrate the hard work of its local offices and the incredible employees who go the extra mile for their Clients. The awards, which took place last week at St. George’s Park, were hosted on the second day of Right at Home’s annual conference.
