Right at Home retains UK Best Franchise Award

As the franchise market in the UK continues to grow with revenues now reaching over £15 billion, the success of franchise organisations providing quality social care is creating huge opportunities. Right at Home UK recently retained its status as one of the leading franchises in the country, winning the UK’s Best Management Franchise category at the Best Franchise Awards. In winning the award for the second year in succession, Right at Home saw off competition from fellow quality homecare providers; highlighting the significant influence the homecare industry is having on the franchise market.

With an estimated £1bn shortfall in social care funding[1], falling numbers of people receiving local authority domiciliary care[2] and an ageing population; the prospect and growth in the franchise homecare market is strong. It is, however, crucial that organisations continue to deliver quality services that meet the needs of Clients. Right at Home is the highest rated national homecare agency on independent review site homecare.co.uk with a score of 9.6 out of 10 from over 550 Client reviews.

At the Best Franchise Awards, sponsored by Lloyds bank; Right at Home UK beat off competition from multinational household names including Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), retail and childcare specialists. The management award replaced the previous years’ investment-level based categories, won by Right at Home in 2016 (£100K+ category).

The company, which opened its 50th office in June 2017, also retained 5-star franchisee satisfaction status in the Smith and Henderson Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark which forms the basis of the award shortlist; for the fifth consecutive year. It is one of only four franchise businesses to have ever maintained this continued success.

Commenting on the success, Ken Deary, Right at Home UK Managing Director said;

“We are absolutely delighted that the support we provide to our Franchisees has been recognised with this award success. To have retained the Best Franchise award for a second year and 5-star satisfaction for a fifth year is especially important to us in our relentless pursuit of excellence.

“We strongly believe that the need for homecare services will continue to grow and are committed to working with our Franchisees to deliver the highest standards of care to our Clients. We have an opportunity to provide a service that improves the quality of life of the elder population and I am delighted that the Best Franchise Awards have again highlighted the performance of Right at Home and indeed Franchising within the homecare sector.”
