What is Attendance Allowance?

Attendance Allowance is a non-contributory Social Security benefit paid to help those who require care or support in Fareham, Gosport, Southampton & New Forest East and all over the UK. If you are someone who has: Reached State Pension Age, needs care due to an illness or disability that you have OR those who have needed care for at least 6 months due to this illness or disability, you can apply for Attendance Allowance.

Attendance Allowance can help those who need some financial support with finding care to help look after them. You could get between £61.85 to £92.40 a week to spend on Care however you'd like or need. The amount you get will depend on how much help is needed and it could help you stay independent in your own home, for longer.

As a premium, local home-care provider, Right at Home Solent supports those in the community, from the comfort of their own homes. We are passionate about making sure that the elderly who want to stay in the comfort of their own homes for as long as possible, are supported enough to do so; and we do everything we can to assist this. Surprisingly, not many people know about the Attendance Allowance support that is available; but it's a great way to have support for you, or a loved one, without the need to consider going  into an assisted living or a care home. Instead, you have the reassurance that you are able to stay in the comfort of you own home whilst receiving frequent help during the day, or being supervised at night.
