Celebrating Halloween with Right at Home Solent & COVID Anxieties

On Monday 31st October 2022 we hosted a Halloween fun-filled day at our Fareham office. In the morning, we hosted a Networking Event and invited some of those we work closely with daily; but we also invited some new faces. It was great to chat to local businesses and people within the local Community (in Fareham, Gosport, Southampton & New Forest) that we haven't been able to do properly since COVID!

In the afternoon, one of our amazing CareGivers, Yvonne, hosted a Halloween Arts and Crafts session for some of our clients. Since the COVID Pandemic, we have seen firsthand how it is impacted people in the community, particularly the elderly. The COVID Pandemic affected everyone differently, it affected a lot of peoples Mental Health. As we provide Premium, Quality Homecare in Fareham, Southampton, Gosport & New Forest East, caring mostly for the elderly, we have noticed how the lack of Social Interaction has directly impacted the elderly and how they socialise.
We were so happy with the turnout for our Halloween afternoon; although we had a couple of last-minute dropouts, we had 6 clients in for our event and some of our CareGivers who joined us for the fun – we had a great day! One of our amazing CareGivers, Yvonne, cares for some of our clients in Fareham Gosport; she is an excellent CareGiver and artist. With our Halloween afternoon being such a success, we have already started planning our Christmas one in December!
