Right at Home Solent celebrated its eighth birthday last week at our Southampton office, and what better way to mark the occasion than a Pizza Party with some of our incredible CareGivers, Clients and Office Staff?
The beaming sun, the smell of homemade pizza and the sunny-sounding steel drums at our Pizza Party last week invited Carers, Clients and Office Staff alike to celebrate the incredible achievements of Right at Home Solent over the past eight years. With a stunning spread of scrumptious food, Owner and Director, Husband and Wife, Kev and Amy Popat outdid themselves on this summery celebration of successes. Kev's homemade pizzas were too good not to have seconds, as I think anyone there would agree.

Fun for all, the afternoon included oversized connect-four, Jenga and the Conga - a real family celebration.

Winning the Woman Franchisee of the Year Award at the Encouraging Women into Franchising Awards (EWIF) is such an incredible and well-deserved accomplishment. Amy has provided Right at Home Solent employees with weekly team check-ins, breathwork and yoga sessions to support mental health, and this award illustrates the work Amy has dedicated herself to; initiatives to help the whole business and the local community, ensuring all team members feel safe and motivated to give their best and ultimately provide the best care possible for local adults who require it. Right at Home Solent also recently celebrated outstanding results from their annual WorkBuzz CareGiver Survey 2023. The anonymous survey rated us a five-star employer, with a 94% engagement score. Every aspect of the survey has improved from the previous year, and with this fantastic result, we are all looking forward to another year at the Right at Home Solent family.
