What is Companionship?

A Companion for The Elderly in this day and age is so important. At Right at Home Solent, we Homecare for many Clients who are elderly in Fareham, Gosport, Southampton & New Forest East; and we see firsthand the impact that Loneliness can have on them. All of our amazing CareGivers are Companions in one way or another; as we emotionally support our Clients when needed and socialise with them. The Elderly community are especially vulnerable to Loneliness and Social Interaction but there are ways to help with us; and that's where Right at Home Solent come in. We have seen many of the relationships between our Clients and our CareGivers turn into friendships; and this is what makes our Homecare Services so excellent. All of our CareGivers can help our Clients with Light Housekeeping, Medication Support, taking them out into the Community and just being there to listen or chat to.

Did you know? The effects of an elderly person feeling Lonely and Isolated, has actually been proven to increase the risks of them developing Dementia.
