To start, we offer full and comprehensive training, whether you have worked in care previously or you are completely new to the role, and you are encouraged and supported to obtain further, specialised training and qualifications. You will then be sent out to shadow other CareGivers on their calls, allowing you to fully acclimatise to the role, meet the clients and settle into the role. Our office team are always on standby to answer any questions and support CareGivers both new and old. What responsibilities and duties will I have?

Having said that no two days are the same, it is important to note that the core responsibilities in care differ, depending on multiple factors, such as the individual Clients’ needs. Yet, all roles within the job have the shared aim of helping to improve the lives of Clients and their families. Main duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Companionship
  • Personal Care
  • Administering medication
  • Sharing updates/ Communication
  • Dementia care

Each of our CareGivers will agree that no two days are the same, with new challenges and Clients differing wants and needs, there is always something new to learn. However, the one thing that remains a constant is the incredibly rewarding feeling of knowing that every day, you are helping someone to live a happier, more fulfilled life.
